The Games
Here are the details of all the games in the MCO.
Combat Arena
1
Standard
First player to get 10 kills. Wait for Go!
Cull
2
Standard
Most kills wins. As soon as the mobs spawn the round starts.
Climbing Wall
3
Standard - points only awarded on completion
Get to the top of the tower and activate the pressure plate. You only have five minutes. Wait for Go!
Strike
4
Standard
You start in your pod. Wait for Go! Press your button to bring lightning down (randomly of course). Last one alive wins.
Rainbow Road

Standard
A simple race with some jumps. First past the post wins. Wait for Go!
The Orphanage

Standard
First to slay 45 enemies. As soon as the enemies arrive the game starts.
Luck Skill Luck

7 Points for all players that complete the game.
In Score order (on screen), hit a target on the far wall and then jump to an Island. One player per Island. Go when everyone is ready. You need to get across the lava lake.
Archery

Standard
You have five arrows to kill your target over increasing distances. Most successful kills wins. Go as soon as you receive your arrows. Each range is timed, so be quick.
Sheep

Standard
Most wool collected wins over a number of rounds. But there is a catch, each round a colour is announced. This is a bad colour, don’t pick any of them up as they lose you 10 points. Go as soon as the sheep spawn.
Test Tubes

Standard
Each round each player selects and enters a test tube (doesn’t have to be your home colour). Together you press the button. Each round one tube is trapped. The player that progresses to the end (or furthest) wins.
Gates

Standard
There are four gates per round and one is safe. In Score order (on screen) the player selects a gate and walks through waiting on the other side. Pay attention. The furthest through the course wins.
The Shrink

Standard
Most kills wins. There is a catch, the arena gets smaller each round and is surrounded by lava. Go as soon as you are dropped in.
Assault Course

Standard
First past the post wins. An obstacle race with some zombies thrown in. This is Minecraft! Wait for Go!
Gambit

Score what you bank
There are a bunch of pillars with buttons on. Some give you 1 point, a few 3 pts but some wipe your score and send you out the game. You can bank your points anytime.
House of Death

Standard
You are in a house with a series of room with lots of monsters. Most monsters killed wins. Wait for Go! Be careful, with PvE switched on, no one has your back.
Spleef

Standard
Last player standing wins. In this classic game you have to dig the ground away from your opponents feet so they drop out of the arena. Wait for Go!
The Fall

Standard
In this game you have to control your descent through a series of jumps and falls. Hit the button as you go to record your score. You have three attempts. Highest score wins.
Seven Ways to Die

Standard
Each player picks one of four doors (can be all the same) and waits for the countdown. One room is trapped and any player in that room is put to death in one of sevenish different ways. Furthest along the course wins.
Ice Boats

Standard
Navigate an ice course in a boat. Your score increases as you progress. Highest score wins. You have three boats. You can purchase more but it will cost you points you have earned!
Crazy Trains

Standard
You are deposited in a train and set loose. Shoot your opponents off the track into the lava. Last player on the tracks wins. Go as soon as you are moving.
Boxes

Standard
Old Skool pen and paper made for Minecraft. Pair up and take it in turns to draw a line. If you make a box take another go. Most completed boxes wins.
The Floor is Lava

Standard
You have 5 minutes to score as many points as possible battling your opponents, navigating jumps over lava and getting to the gold chests. Most points win. 1 pt per kill, 3 pts per gold and minus 1 pt per death. Wait for Go!
Art Attack

Standard
Agree a subject and then you have 5 minutes making a massive 2D drawing. When the time is up you are TP’d to the viewing platform to see the fabulous art. You have five points to allocate as you see fit, but not to yourself. Most votes wins.
Hunger Games

Survivors 7pts
Everyone else 1pt
In a dark forest you can fight and hide from monsters and players alike. Find gold in chests, these are exchanged for food. Last 5 minutes to get the points.
Battlefleets
25
Standard
This is battleships on steroids. All players will place their battleship within the grid. When done playing in turn punch in your x and y co-ords and hit fire. 1 pt per hit (and you can get multiple hits in one go). Most points win.
The Drop
26
Standard
A rest for the battle weary, just press a button and you either die or score a point. Keep going for as many points as you can. Most points win.
Lava Tubes

Standard
A gruesome take on musical chairs. You have 10 seconds to find a tube with a safe barrier to protect from the lava. There is one safe tube randomly each round. The player who progresses furthest wins.
Force Fields

Standard
Your force field is holding back a hoard of zombies. Hit your target and your force fields increases. Hit your opponents and their decreases until it drops. Last player alive wins.
Mastermind

Standard
You need to crack the code. Red markers are the right colour in the right place whilst white is the right colour in the wrong place. When complete 2pts per red, 1pt per white and 1 bonus pt per unused guess. Most points win.
Slime Jump

Standard
A series of jumps are required to get to the end of the course. 1 point is awarded per completed jump. You have three attempts. Most points wins.
Snakes and Ladders

Standard
Classic board game - in Score order roll the dice and move that many rooms. Red rooms are snakes and yellow rooms ladders. First to 100 wins.
Battleboards

Standard
Snake and Ladders meets dungeon quest. Start in turn order and roll the dice. After initial rolls just go for it. Red rooms are bad and yellow rooms are good. Fight monsters to get to room 100! First wins.
Snake (Dice Mode)

Standard
In reverse score order select your starting point. In order roll your dice and move that many spaces. Don’t get blocked on or you are out. Most territory gained wins.
Snake (Panic Mode)

You will be TP’d to your starting points. Wait for Go! and sprint as fast as you can. Don’t get boxed in or you are out. Most territory gained wins.
Ore House

Standard
Wait for Go! and collect as much copper ore as possible. Look out for the bonus finds - they will give you extra points at the end. Most points wins.
Danger Zone

Standard
You have to race across the lava over a number of rounds. When the first player passes the finish line a 10 second counter starts. You mustn’t be touching red or else! 1 point per completed round. Most points wins.
Fire Pit

Standard
Standing on a pile of blocks 8 high over a lake of lava, every time a target is hit matching your colour one is removed. Last player alive wins! Wait for Go!
Colour Blind
38
Standard
The most challenging game. Complete 15 areas - 1 point for each challenge beaten. You can hit the gold button and skip the room with a time penalty. The first player to the finish sets off a 3 minute timer. Most points wins.
